Have you ever sat down and read all of Mark’s Gospel as an entire book? Ever looked for a way to read the Bible more prayerfully and learn more about your faith in the process? As the Church begins a new liturgical year, now is a perfect time to familiarize yourself with Mark’s Gospel, from which the Church pulls the majority of the Sunday Gospel Readings during the upcoming liturgical year.

For this reason, Father Llane Briese is pleased to offer a new 9-week Bible Study, “Explorations in the Gospel of Mark”. We will have sessions on both Monday evenings and Tuesday mornings (you choose) beginning on January 23/34 in Classroom 1.

Along the way, we will also explore some of the tools used in Bible study and focus also on how to engage both the head and the heart in our prayerful reading of Sacred Scripture.

Don’t miss out as we seek to hear with fresh ears Mark’s proclamation of “the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God” (Mk 1:1) and to respond to it afresh in our lives as we accept his invitation to faith. All are welcome. Bring your bible and a friend!
