Welcome

In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Our Lord teaches us that we are never to ignore the needs of our neighbor. Further, He teaches us that our "neighbors" include more than just those in our families and in our circle of friends.

The more we allow God to draw us to Himself, the more we are drawn in service and charity to one another. It is out of an ever-deepening spiritual life that we must find ourselves serving our neighbor.

We have more than 60 active ministries at St. Peter Chanel, and there can be no doubt that this is a fruit of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration that is observed in our parish.

Please prayerfully consider donating your time, talent and treasure to one or more ministries. Our ministry directory is organized by category. You are invited to select from the Ministry Categories listed on the left-hand side of this page to explore the ministry possibilities that exist for your consideration.

Matthew 25:34-40 (RSV-CE): Then the King will say to those at his right hand, 'Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?' And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'
