Getting Ready for the revised English translations of the Roman Missal at St. Peter Chanel...

Use of the New Roman Missal, 3rd Edition, for Mass begins on the 1st Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011.

These pages are presented to help our parish community prepare for the changes in translations of prayers and other texts used by the priest, deacons and laity in the celebration of Holy Mass.

Each week we will introduce a new topic on these pages, announce it on the home page of the St. Peter Chanel website and include it in our weekly bulletin. So be sure to check back frequently.

Fr. Peter will present parish-wide sessions on these changes beginning in July. Deacon Mike will include information as part of the ongoing adult education classes and bible studies beginning in September. And the PSR program will be introducing these changes to our children
