PSR News & Current Events

REGISTER BY August 9th to be on a roster when we begin on August 22nd!

Registration for 2010-11 session is underway. Please complete a registration form, found under the "Forms and Calendars" tab and return it to the PSR office. Registration forms received by August 9th will be processed and assigned to a session. Any registrations received after that date will be processed at our first opportunity but we cannot guarantee that your child will be on a roster by the start of sessions.

PSR UPDATE: Thank you to all who have volunteered to teach a PSR Session. A late influx of registrations has required that we add classes. We need additional volunteer catechists and aides. Please contact us if you can help! Grade level contact information located on the "Contacts" tab

New on Wednesdays in 2010-11

  • Wednesday Family Suppers offered each week PSR is in session from 5:30-7:00PM

    • As this event begins, dinners are available by reservation. A very limited number of dinners will be available on a walk-in basis. Reservations may be made as late as the Monday preceding the dinner. We cannot issue refunds, however, if you cancel by Tuesday before the dinner, we will issue a credit for a future dinner.

On one Wednesday of every month, there will be a FAMILY ROSARY in the sanctuary beginning at 5:00. Dates for this year include Sept.1, Oct. 6, Nov 10, Dec 1, Jan 12, Feb 2, Mar. 2, Apr. 13, and May 4 Come and pray with us then stay for dinner.

Enduring Love Catechist Conference August 14, 2010

Join us for this wonderful opportunity to learn about passing on your faith to the chidren and youth of SPC. All adults are invited whether you are planning to become a catechist, are a catechist or just thinking about the possiblity. National level speakers will be at this event for YOU! The event is free. Good Shepherd Level I Training Returns in August

Our atrium is expanding as we add Level II in August. Elizabeth Piper will return to present Level I training This course is open to all parishioners and nonparishioners.

School of Religion

The Parish School of Religion (PSR) offers a program of education, formation and Sacramental preparation for the children and youth of the parish from Preschool K3 through High School. Bible Studies and Youth Minsitry events are offered for middle and high school youth.
