Nursery
Nursery is offered at the 4:30 Saturday Vigil, and Sunday Morning Masses. The nursery is staffed with a two trained coordinators and parent volunteers. Each family using the services of the nursery is expected to volunteer as a helper on a monthly basis.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Meets either on Wednesday Afternoon at 4:30 or
Sunday morning at 8:45, 10:45, 12:15 The Good Shepherd class is open to 4 and 5-year-olds only.
These sessions follow a Montessori format and are held in a specially equipped "Atrium" found in classroom 5 of the St. Peter Chanel building. Level I serves children ages 3-5 while Level II serves children ages 6-8.

Sunday Morning PSR Sessions
Meets at 9:00 and 10:45.
Traditional preschool classroom setting the cirriculum focus is on Bible stories. Children learn about Jesus and other Bible heros through games, songs, stories, crafts and special learning events. The curriculum is based on "Stories of God's Love" by RCL Benziger. All preschool sessions are held in St. Peter Chanel building classrooms.

Sunday Morning Sessions
Meets at 9:00-10:15AM or 10:45-Noon. Sunday sessions held at Blessed Trinity High School.
Wednesday Afternoon Sessions
Meets at 4:30-5:45PM. Wednesday Sessions held in St. Peter Chanel Classrooms.
Curriculum:
These sessions follow a traditional classroom setting with an emphasis on fellowship and active learning. The curriculum is based on "Finding God Series" by Loyola Press. To view a syllabus, click on the age (grade) level listed below:

Throughout the year age level groups gather for active learning experiences based on a theme that explores a teaching or tradition of the church. These events are held during regular PSR times. Children who are home schooled or those attending Catholic School are welcome to attend but asked to email us so that we are prepared to accomodate additional children.

Please note that FAMILY EVENTS are open to all children of the parish and their families. There are no regularly scheduled sessions during the family event.
Families may request to home school their children except during sacrament years (Age 6,7, 14 and 15). All home school families must complete PSR registration, and a Home Study Plan to be submitted to the PSR office and approved by the pastor. Once approved, participants must attend a Home School Orientation and complete quarterly reviews to remain in good standing. The fee for Home School is the same as regular PSR.
