PSR Service Project Information

SERVICE, PRAYER AND LITURGY, COMMUNITY, LEARNING

The teen program at St. Peter Chanel is built on the principles of service, prayer, community, and learning. Service projects are designed to bring awareness to the Corporal Works of Mercy and dignity to all.

SERVICE

Once confirmed, teens are called to an adult role in the church. Service is the center of that commitment. Teens preparing for Confirmation are asked to provide service as an introduction to fully living out their faith. Multiple service projects provide all teens the opportunity to fully live out their faith in service to others. The calendar of events below lists service opportunities. Ministries Requesting Teens

We encourage teens to help with parish events.Ministries needing teen help, please follow the guidelines contained on the form below. All service requests must be through a a parish ministry, we cannot provide teens for individual, personal or business purpooses. We appreciate your feedback any time that teens are involved in providing service to your group.

Chaperone Requirements

Chaperones and drivers must be over the age of 23 for all teen events. All chaperones must comply with background screening policies of the Archdiocse of Atlanta. Drivers must complete the Driver Information Sheet found below:

ONGOING FUNDRAISER:

Cell Phone/Electronics Recycling Program - We recycle your old cell phones and used ink cartridges. Money earned from redeeming these items helps cover the costs of our mission trip. Collection bin is located in the teen room (room 3).
