Furnishing the Kingdom

Cenotaph Gifts

A Cenotaph is a memorial gift or structure meant to honor a deceased loved one. We have chosen to furnish our Church with items that have been given as a "cenotaph" offering. This creates both a legacy and living memorial for those who have gone before us. By surrounding ourselves with these reminders, our loved ones will remain in our prayers and the prayers of the parish family every day. The names of those individuals memorialized through the donation of one of the Cenotaph items are listed in the Bronze Memorial Books in the Narthex of the Church.

Stained Glass Windows

joseph-jesusOur Church sanctuary is graced with the glowing light that shines through the beautiful stained glass windows. These marywindows are a living legacy, donated as memorials by parishioners. Not only do they provide us with beautiful art, but also share the stories and role models of our faith. The Mysteries of the Rosary in the right and left transept, provide the key elements of our faith. The saints who are pictured and smile down on us as we gather to pray, are part of the Communion of Saints and offer us shining examples of lived Christian virtues.

A few windows remain to be sponsored. If you would like more information about the stained glass windows, or the possibility of sponsoring one of these magnificent memorials, please contact Mary Ann Plachta, Director of Development in the parish office.
