Jeanne Lyons

I grew up in Morgantown, in beautiful WV, but have lived in Roswell for 26 years. My husband Rory and I have 2 grown sons. Our oldest son is on the autism spectrum, but he was welcomed to attend Queen of Angels with his brother by the founding principal, Sister Patricia Clune, who lovingly allowed us to send a special needs aide to school with our oldest. Because of his full inclusion, some of his Q of A schoolmates discovered God’s vocations for themselves early, growing up to become therapeutic professionals who do inspiring work with autistic individuals. I’ve worked as a full inclusion public school teacher, as a Montessori teacher, and have been SPC Preschool’s Music & Movement teacher for 17 years. I love supporting families living with disAbility to find their Catholic home here at SPC, where Jesus smiles as children-adults with special needs fully participate in parish life, receive the sacraments and share their gifts with us!
